Senegal is a country steeped in culture where traditions are maintained through rhythm, song and dance. Senegalese dance is vibrant, energetic and fun-filled, with a strong emphasis on people coming together to celebrate with dance.
The spirit and soul of African culture is brought alive in Sens’ workshops and performances which typically involve African melodies with choreographed and freestyle dance to live African drumming.
Sens runs workshops in schools and colleges, and with community groups, to raise awareness of African dance and rhythm. He also works closely with students and theatre productions staging dance, song and theatre shows. Sens hosts corporate events encouraging team building and breaking down barriers through easy to follow dance moves and hypnotic rhythms.
Sens works with the African drumming group, Tanante, and collaborates with other artists to provide African musical and cultural performances and, as in all of Sens’ performances, the emphasis is on having fun and joining in.
Kajamor offers individuals and groups unique traditional holidays in the beautiful coastal region of Cassamance in Senegal, with opportunities for drum and dance tuition.

Sens comes from the Jolla tribe and his grandmother was a Fina Jalli, a tribe famous for singing stories and remembering their history through song.
